If your landlord is refusing to make necessary repairs, so that the property will comply with basic habitability requirements of the Uniform Housing Code call 644-3275, and file a complaint with the Building Department. An inspector will review the problem and take appropriate action. For other landlord/tenant issues you may need to seek legal advice.
