Newport Beach City offices are typically open between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Office hours may vary by department, therefore check with the individual offices for precise information. There are certain government holidays throughout the year on which all offices will be closed.

These holidays are: New Years Day, Washington's Birthday, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, the last half of the day on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the last half of the day on New Year's Eve.
