Care can be provided by trained staff for adults who might need assistance with activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, or supervision for safety. It is provided in a licensed facility for specified periods of time during the day, usually Monday through Friday. In this area, there are two Adult Day Care facilities.

Adult Day Services of Orange County is located at 9451 Indianapolis Ave. in Huntington Beach. They can be reached at (714)593-9630. Irvine Adult Day Health Center is located at 20 Lake in Irvine. They can be reached at 262-1123. Both of these programs have a sliding fee schedule and accept medi-cal insurance.
