Employees of the Newport Beach Police Department issue citations for traffic violations, municipal code violations and other minor offenses. Once the citation has been issued you will receive a courtesy notice from Superior Court, Harbor Justice Center, Traffic Division. This notice will be mailed to the address on the citation no later than 7 days before the citation due date. If you do not receive a notice from the court, you are still responsible for appearing in court on or before the date listed on the citation. Please call the Harbor Justice Center, Traffic Division for any questions or information regarding a citation at 476-7499.
