The Planning Commission has created an exception for restaurants or businesses that do not have enough parking spaces to meet the City's requirements. Establishments that operate with very low parking demand, which can be met with street parking without causing adverse impacts on the surrounding neighborhood, may be eligible for this permit. Information may be obtained from the Planning Department at 644-3200. There is an annual fee based on the number of spaces needed to fulfill the City's regulations. Information on the annual fee may be obtained by calling Revenue at 644-3141.
