The Utilities Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the street lights within the City of Newport Beach. To report a malfunctioning or damaged street light contact the Utilities Department main offices, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday at 644-3011. If the problem occurs after regular working hours, please contact the Police Department Dispatch Center at 644-3717. The dispatcher will immediately contact a Utilities Department Duty Personnel who will respond to your home or business.
