young adult advisory council :

The Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC) is a group of teens who meet monthly during the school year to help improve library services to young people. They give input into library collections and help plan programs and services for teens, including scavenger hunts, poetry slams, author appearances and more.

Are you :

  • a 7th through 12th-grader who lives in Newport Beach?
  • someone who cares about library services for teens?
  • interested in reading and computer technology?
  • eager to be part of a team that plans library events for young people?
  • enthusiastic about participating in book & movie discussions?
